Reincarnation

The main character, Maron, is sixteen years old, living by herself (with angel named Fin), a 'star' gymnastics player, popular in school and also steals paintings during the night.

Abandoned at a young age by her parents, who are architects living abroad, Maron grew up learning how to depend on herself, which made her appear strong in the eyes of others. However, one day an angel appeared before her and told her that she was the reincarnation of Jeanne d'Arc (Joan of Arc) and gave her a rosary to transform and a mission.

So at night, Maron transforms into Jeanne and steals the 'beauty' of paintings that are possessed by demons. One day, a rival named Sinbad appears and declares war. The same day, a cute but annoying guy called Chiaki pries into Maron's life and threatens to crumble the walls that she had built around herself.

But Maron doesn't believe in love until Chiaki comes after her when she runs away after hearing news that her parents were getting a divorce. From then on, Maron finds that it's ok to be weak and falls in love with her enemy.

About Jeanne. Whenever Maron is Jeanne she has more confidence in herself and is stronger, but she needs Fin's help in order to transform. However, when stealing Miyako's brother's painting, she loses her rosary but uses her own holy power to transform in order to save Miyako.

After this Hijiri appears and Maron is extremely happy because he has a letter from her father. Also because Chiaki confesses his love for her again, but she is still upset because she can never date him. After the incident with Zen, Maron decides to still trust Chiaki's decision and believes that there is a reason for his actions.

Hijiri is upset because Maron still believes in Chiaki and turns into Noin and tries to make Maron his by force. Chiaki arrives and chases Noin off, which makes Maron believe that Chiaki is really doing everything for her good.

Maron visits Zen's grave and meets Chiaki there, where she tells him how she feels since he is acting so cold to her. Chiaki is unable to keep his distance anymore and the two decide to go on a date where he will tell her everything.

During the date, it is obvoious that Maron is very engrossed with Chiaki (even though she constantly asks him for his reasoning to stop Jeanne). When Chiaki finally tells her, she finds herself disbelieving him, she rushes home to make sure that it isn't true.

However, Maron is heartbroken because it is true and turns to Chiaki and Access for support. She becomes extremely grateful to the two but becomes even stronger when she finally becomes able to transform into Jeanne on her own. After this Maron is even able to make her first phone call to her parents.

Eventually, Maron is able to confront her lonely side during the final battle with Maou and is cured emotionally. When she returns from heaven, her parents have come back from abroad and Chiaki and Maron get married.
